It looks to be a great beginners reading book to me. The words are simple and will hopefully be within the child's reading range. I got the English/Spanish translation because the child, who speaks Spanish as her first language, assures me that she wants to learn English right

Now in this English/Spanish bilingual edition! Jesus loves many people. He has lots of friends who love him, too. Jesus and his friends help people. They share their food. Best of all, Jesus and his friends tell people about God.
