As a teacher, I understand the pressure to stick to curriculum but the focus on standardized testing has robbed children of creativity. Teachers are determining how kids learn based on these tests which leaves little room to see the complexities| |"This book is refreshing. I know schools cannot be expected to take charge of fostering creativity in children and teenagers anytime soon. Parents own this responsibility. This whole idea intrigues me. I'm reading this with a highlighter and sticky notes
